Deciding to go to Ireland happened so quickly. It was really only a matter of hours between the time I finished my studies in Madrid, to my friends telling me that there were round trip tickets to Dublin for 50 euros for the next month, to entering my credit card information to secure my flight. Although I was on a tight budget, I bought the tickets that same night after having seen 10 photos of the city on the internet. It’s amazing how many things I was able to see in just one week in this beautiful capital, walking along the Howth cliffs, visiting Poolbeg lighthouse and even seeing the deer in Phoenix Park. These are just some of the many things Dublin delivered to me during my first week on the island.

The first days I had a few mishaps when walking with my camera, sometimes I lost concentration and didn’t know which way to look to cross the street, because they drive on the right side… it only made for better memories though!
